The game of basketball is one of the most important sports that witness a sports turnout and fans in various countries of the world due to its importance and status among sports, and that this game needs physical capabilities and high motor, technical and tactical abilities, and to teach students the skills of the game of basketball, it is necessary to adopt real ways that work to teach them these skills through the use of appropriate teaching methods and in line with their educational visions that support their capabilities and physical abilities, which leads to Raising their motivation for successful and correct learning and achieving academic excellence, so the objectives of the current research were as follows:
1- Identify the educational vision of each member of the research sample
2- Identify the relationship between the educational vision and motivation of the research sample.
3- Analysis of the impact of the educational vision and motivation to acquire basketball skills for the research sample's participants.
To achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach and the selection of the research sample of (100) students from the total community of (167) and a scale was built for educational vision and motivation under the conditions and standards of building scales and applying the scale to the research sample and reaching results and conclusions that showed the importance and role of educational vision and motivation in learning basic skills in basketball and achieving sports excellence.
