This study aims to understand the effectiveness of the investment policy in light of the current legislation, and a set of results was made, the most important of which is the weakness of the effectiveness of the investment policy in Iraq, and that there is a legislative deficiency in the rules and procedures required to be followed in the application phase, We were able to reach the desired investment policies through descriptive and quantitative analysis of a number of macroeconomic variables, the index of granted industrial models, the unemployment index, the bank Credit Index, Finally, recommendations were presented that could assist the government in bolstering the investment policy.
