Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become one of the most transformative technologies influencing Human Resource Management (HRM). Organizations increasingly employ AI-driven systems in recruitment, employee engagement, performance evaluation, workforce planning, and strategic decision-making. AI technologies such as machine learning, natural language processing, predictive analytics, and intelligent automation have significantly altered traditional HR practices by improving operational efficiency, minimizing human bias, and enhancing organizational productivity. Despite widespread adoption, empirical evidence examining the collective influence of AI on recruitment efficiency, employee performance, organizational productivity, and managerial decision-making remains limited, particularly in emerging economies.

The present study investigates the impact of Artificial Intelligence on Human Resource Management through an empirical analysis involving employees and HR professionals from various service and manufacturing organizations. A structured questionnaire was administered to 200 respondents using a five-point Likert scale. The study adopts a quantitative research design employing descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) using SPSS.

The findings indicate that AI adoption significantly improves recruitment efficiency by reducing hiring time, increasing candidate quality, and minimizing recruitment costs. AI also contributes positively to employee performance through personalized training, continuous feedback, and performance monitoring systems. Furthermore, AI enhances organizational productivity by streamlining HR operations, improving workforce utilization, and supporting evidence-based managerial decisions. Statistical analysis reveals strong positive relationships between AI implementation and all four dependent variables.

The study contributes to the growing body of knowledge on AI-enabled Human Resource Management by providing empirical evidence regarding its strategic value. The findings offer practical implications for HR managers, policymakers, and business leaders seeking to integrate AI technologies into organizational HR practices while maintaining ethical standards, transparency, and employee trust.
